Ocotillo Community Park was constructed in 2007 thanks to a land donation from the Emory Family, and a California State Grant funded by the 2000 Parks Bond Act.
The Desert Volunteers of Ocotillo Optimist Club continue to support the Community Park and help improve it for future generations.

The Heber Community Center is owned and operated by the County of Imperial. A 3,000 sq ft community center with library, event area, kitchen and restrooms is available for use. Outdoor areas also include a basketball court and boxing ring. The Community Center is located within the Townsite of Heber on Heber Avenue and is parallel to Dogwood Road.
John Bates Memorial Park is leased from the Seeley County Water District and maintained by the County of Imperial. Special events and activities are overseen by the Seeley Citizens United Group. A football/soccer field, baseball field, volleyball court, basketball court and tot lot are available for the community. The park is located within the Townsite of Seeley and can be accessed via Interstate 8 - Drew Road off Park Street.
Palo Verde Park is a limited facility park on 13.6 acres along the Colorado River at Oxbow Lake. The park, which is owned and operated by the County of Imperial, has a boat ramp and new restrooms. Dry Camping is available for $15.00 per day (maximum 7 days). The park is located within the Townsite of Palo Verde and is accesible from Highway 78.
Pioneers Park & Museum is a 22 acre park which mainly serves as the campus to the Pioneers Museum and Cultural Center. Special events and activities are managed by the Imperial County Historical Society. The park grounds, non-museum, is maintained by the County of Imperial. In addition to the museum, the park includes several outdoor exhibits and restrooms. The park is directly across from the Imperial Valley College and can be accessed via Highway 111 and Aten Road.
